We arrived just before 12pm and went straight for some lunch. Our first two activities have been the high swing and archery. Lots of fun was had! The children are just off to the campfire for songs and toasted marshmallows.
We had a terrific time this week at Martin Mere learning how to become ‘Guardians of the Wild’.

World Book Day!π
Year 5 have had a great day celebrating World Book Day. We have made brand new book marks; completed book reviews; read stories with our younger friends in Year 1 and watched a live stream with the famous author, Michael Rosen. What a busy day we have had! π
Every Tuesday at 1.30pm, Mrs Davies, from Savio, comes to teach us Spanish. We have learned lots of new words over the last few weeks. This week, we wrote about our pets. πΆππ’ππ±π¦

Year 5 spent the morning making Anglo-Saxon bread. We made two different types - peasant and royal.
This week, we started a brand new science topic called, Properties and Changes of Materials. For our first lesson, we went outside to identify different materials used around our school.
