Summary of Learning
Physical education is delivered using SHARES sports coaches and their unit plans, divided into key stages (EYFS, KS1, LKS2 & UKS2). Each key stage consists of six units per year, with identical units taught across all key stages simultaneously. Progression is evident as students advance through the years, with each unit focusing on skill development. Each lesson includes a learning objective, guiding students toward their final assessment for that unit.

Well what a fantastic day the Year 6 dodgeball team had today at Carmel College in St. Helens! They were an absolute credit to Our Lady of Walsingham and played the games in the right spirit showing excellent sportsmanship. The team played 4 group games winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 1. We then advanced to the semi finals were we narrowly lost. Overall we finished 4th which is a fantastic achievement and we are all very proud of them. Well done!!!
